The International Student Conference at Ibaraki University has been established and organized as part of its promotion of education and research to graduate students.
The upcoming 10th conference (ISCIU 10) will provide an excellent opportunity for students to exchange new ideas internationally. All discussions will be conducted in English hence eliminating the barriers between countries, nations and languages.
We encourage all Japanese students, as well as international students from all over the world, to take part in this conference.

Take a bus operated by Ibaraki-Koutsu bounds for Ibaraki University (via Sakae-cho) from the No.7 stop of the bus terminal at JR Mito Station (North Exit), and get off at the Ibadai-mae stop. The bus may also stop at the Ibadai-Seimonmae stop, which is the nearest stop to Ibaraki University. (It takes about 25 minutes on the bus)

This year, we are holding the commemorative 10th ISCIU, with the theme of "Diversity".
Nowadays, as a result of the maturation of information‐oriented society and knowledge sharing, the boundaries between different faculties, departments and subjects become out of date. The cooperation of intelligence across different fields is highly required.
Even being considered unrelated to information science, agriculture gains its rapid growth thanks to the combination with cloud computing. The application of IoT makes a remarkable contribution to the whole industry.
We hope all the participants of this conference will meet up with some new ideas from unexperienced fields, and put them into practice in the future.

After the reviewing process is completed, the author (the author who submits the paper) of each submitted paper will be notified of the result, by e-mail. Authors are required to follow the review recommendations in order to improve their paper.
All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings.
Authors must register at the Registration Counter which will be located at Ibaraki University.
In addition, proceedings and bag will be presented free.
Proceedings and bag are available for 1,000 yen.
High School Students: Free
Students: 1,000 yen
Others: 7,000 yen

We cannot change any contents of the papers. Poster presenters are requested to post their posters (A1 size) on the first day and give a short talk (60 seconds) in the opening ceremony without any visual aids.
Speakers in oral sessions are requested to prepare their presentations within 15 minutes.
